Proxmox Virtual Environment, or Proxmox VE, is a full-featured hypervisor with a convenient web interface, which we can use to build and manage complex virtual infrastructure in a cluster or which we can use to manage virtual machines and containers in a home lab. Whether we use one node or many, Proxmox VE allows us to build hyper-converged infrastructure for our own learning or to support production services. I'm Scott Simpson, and if you're interested in learning to use Proxmox VE to build a home lab, I hope you'll join me for this course. We'll take a look at the advantages that Proxmox VE offers, and we'll explore how to plan and install a node. We'll see how to manage our data center and how to create and work with virtual machines and containers. I'll show you how to set up a private NAT network for the guests, and we'll take a look at clustering on high availability, as well. Proxmox VE is a great choice for many different applications, and we can get started using it in our home lab for free. Let's go.
