Hello everyone,

I’m the developer behind Devil Engine — a community-driven directory that helps users discover and evaluate privacy-focused websites across clearnet and darknet.

✅ What Devil Engine is
Devil Engine is a directory where listings are ranked by:
- Approved user reviews (rating + volume)
- Trust votes (up/down)

The goal is simple: reduce noise, highlight reliable services, and make manipulation harder than on typical “top lists”.

⭐ Top Rated / Featured (automatic, not manual)
“Featured” on the site means Top Rated:
- Based on the last 30 days of activity (reviews + trust votes)
- If there aren’t enough signals in 30d, it falls back to all-time
- A site must have at least one real signal (review or trust vote) to qualify

⭐ Rewards: DEVC (convertible to XMR)
Contributors earn DEVC for useful participation (e.g., approved reviews, helpful contributions).
DEVC can be converted to XMR (details on the Rewards page):

⭐ Anti-abuse / Anti-brigading (already in place)
Hard limits:
- 1 review per user per site
- 1 trust vote per user per site (login required)
- Reviews are moderated (not instant publish)

Next improvements (in progress):
- reputation-weighted impact (new accounts have reduced influence)
- anomaly/brigading detection and automatic down-weighting
- suspicious activity excluded from rewards

⚠️ Conflict of interest (COI)
If a listing is owned/operated by the platform operator, it is marked as operator-owned and is excluded from Top Rated by default.
Credibility > promotion.

⭐ How to submit a website
Use the submit form:

Please provide:
- correct category + tags
- short description
- clearnet URL and/or .onion mirror (if available)

Listings are reviewed before becoming public.

⭐ Advertising (separate from rankings)
Banner ads (DEVC) are available, but they do not affect ratings, trust score, or Top Rated placement.
